Q1: Difference between similar products

A1: Resistance passive equalization (advantages: cheap, small, stable, disadvantages: low efficiency, high heat)

Inductive active equalization (advantages: affordable price, small size, disadvantages: poor stability, easy to break, and general accuracy)

Transformer type active equalization (advantages: high accuracy, high stability, disadvantages: large volume, high price)

Q2: Wiring rules

A2: Starting from 0V (main negative pole) in the clockwise direction, the hanging of 0V (main negative pole) in any state can easily lead to plate burning. Be sure to confirm the wire sequence and wrong order plate burning!

Q3: Consequences of wrong wiring

Q4: Use principle of wire rod

A4: The specification of supporting wire is 22AWG (0.3m2), and the length is sufficient. The shorter the better.

Q5: Power consumption of the module?

A5: The power consumption of the module is as low as 1.5mA, which is suitable for working for a long time without shutting down. The light is always on. When the battery cell voltage is lower than 2.5V, the module enters the sleep protection mode to prevent excessive battery discharge (the power consumption of the sleep mode is as low as 5uA)

Q6: Equalizing current

A6: The limit current that the equalization module can withstand is 2A, and the current is not so large when the voltage difference is small or the internal resistance of the battery is large or the resistance of the connecting line is large； The equivalent internal resistance of 2A plate is 480 milliohm, {total equalizing current=differential pressure/(battery internal resistance+connecting line resistance+equivalent internal resistance of equalizing plate)}.

Q7: Working temperature

A7: The circuit efficiency is very high, the heat generation is relatively low, and the general temperature is about 30-45 degrees Celsius

Q8: Life of equalizing plate

A8: The product is delivered after rigorous testing. It is not damaged by human factors (such as moisture, water, reverse connection, overpressure, static electricity, etc.). The life of the capacitor is 3-5 years (replace the capacitor when the bulge is found). The life of the chip, resistor and transistor is generally longer than that of human beings.
