“NEP XUA" HERBAL SHAMPOO

■ INGREDIENTS:

Locust, garcinia cowa, holy basil, patchouli, grapefruit peel, billy-goat weed, berry leaves, mint.

■ BENEFITS:

– Used as a substitute for regular shampoo.

– Treats dandruff. When used as a hair steam, the shampoo offers deep hair nourishment by opening hair follicles, increasing blood circulation, detoxing the hair and allowing for better nutrient absorption into the hair. Use this product regularly for a long time to ease headache symptoms.

– Treats itchy hair and hair loss after the hair becomes used to cleansing without chemicals.

– Soothing scent.

Notes:

– Avoid contact with eyes, as locust tends to cause eye irritation. If you get shampoo in your eyes, immediately wipe it off and rinse your eyes with water.

– Chemically treated hair needs time to adjust and become used to cleansing without chemicals.

■ DIRECTIONS:

★ SELF-MEASUREMENT

This type goes with a cloth bag.

– Add a reasonable amount of “Nep Xua" Herbal Shampoo to the cloth bag. Let it steep for a few minutes in about 1,5 liters of boiling water, or boil it over heat for 3 minutes. Use this liquid to steam your face while waiting for the herbal contents to dissolve completely. For better effect, steep the herbs-filled cloth bag in hot water in a vacuum bottle for 2-4 hours.

– Before washing the hair, squeeze all of the herbal liquid in the cloth bag into the rinsing water. Keep the water lukewarm (about 40-48°C).

– Use ½ to ⅔ of the rinse water to rinse the hair multiple times. Scrub the scalp using the pads of your fingers, not your fingernails. Collect the rinse water in a basin and reuse it some more times. Add more hot water to the mix if the water temperature is not high enough. Soak your hair in the hot rinse water so that it better absorbs the nourishing ingredients in the shampoo.

– Mix the remaining rinse water with 1-1,5 liters of hot or lukewarm water for a final rinse. Add a few drops of Vietherb's Grapefruit Essential Oil or “Nep Xua" Hair Balm to this liquid to nourish the hair and encourage hair growth if you wish.

★ FILTER BAGS

– Soak each filter bag in 1,5 liters of boiling water for 5-7 minutes, or boil it over heat for 3-5 minutes. Use this liquid to steam your face while waiting for the herbal contents to dissolve completely. For better effect, steep the filter bags in hot water in a vacuum bottle for 2-4 hours.

– Before washing the hair, squeeze all of the herbal liquid in the cloth bag into the rinsing water. Keep the water lukewarm (about 40-48°C).

■ STORAGE:

– Store in a dry, airy space, away from direct sunlight.

– Herb-filled water for hair washing can be stored in a vacuum bottle for 24 hours or chilled in the fridge for several days. Reheat to a warm temperature when ready to use.

– The Self-Measuring Herbal Shampoo is packed solely in a paper bag instead of a zipper bag. Therefore, when opened, it needs to be stored in an airtight container to avoid molds and preserve product quality.

– The Filter Bagged Herbal Shampoo is packed in a zipper bag, which can be cleaned and reused after use.
