Description:

Circuit principle

When the power is turned on, the two triodes will be on first, but due to the differences of components, only one tube will be on first, and then the two triodes in the circuit will be on and off in turn, and the two light-emitting diodes will continuously cycle.

Changing the resistance value or capacitance can change the flashing speed of LED.

When the circuit is powered on, assuming that Q1 is on first, C1 begins to charge through R2. Since the capacitance is equivalent to a short circuit during charging, the Q2 base is approximately grounded, so Q2 is cut off. At this time, D1 is on and D2 is off. When C1 is charged, Q2 base is at high level, so D2 is on, and the charge on C1 is discharged, Q1 is off, and D1 is off. C2 is charged through R3. After charging, Q1 turns on the circuit again, and all two LEDs flash alternately.
