3 Using the Operator

Precaution :

( 1 ) turn on the power , check the 9V battery, if the battery is low , " " symbol will appear on the display , then should refer to "Maintenance" a replacement battery ; if the " " symbol does not appear , you can measure operations.

( 2 ) Prior to testing, the ftion switch should be placed in your desired range .

3.1 Resistance Measurement

Before making line resistance measurement should be disconnected power to the circuit , and the circuitIn

Capacitor discharge .

( A ) the red lead into "" jack and the black test lead into the "COM" jack ;

( 2 ) Set the ftion / range switch to "OHM", if the measured resistance is unknown, you should first select the maximum range, and then gradually decreases until a satisfactory reading ;

( 3 ) the test leads and reliable contact with the measured component or loop ends , the display will show the measured component or circuit resistance value ;

( 4 ) does not allow the power circuit for online measurement, the measurement should be preceded by the loop power , and make the loop capacitor ( especially large -capacity capacitor ) discharges.

(5) 20 small resistance measurement should subtract the lead resistance .

3.2 Capacitance Measurement

3.3 Inductance Measurement

( 1 ) Set the ftion / range switch to "L", if the measured inductance unknown size , you should first select the maximum range, and then gradually decreases until a satisfactory reading ;

( 2 ) the measured inductance pin insertion inductance test jacks "LC-" and "LC +", and to ensure ess to reliable, the display will show the measured inductance value.

3.4 Transistor hFE parameter measurement

( 1 ) Set the ftion / range switch to the "hFE";

( 2 ) determine the test transistor is a PNP or NPN type , the base electrode right (B), the emitter (E), collector (C) into the appropriate test corresponding to the jack and ensure reliable contact , the display will show the measured transistor hFE values.

4 Maintenance

4.1 The digital multimeter is a precision instrument , do not arbitrarily change the line and mobilize machine potentiometer, and note the following:

A. Do not connect a signal ;

B. Only the test leads from the meter removed and the power is off before replacing the battery .

4.2 9V battery more

Note 9V battery usage , if you need to replace the battery , unscrew the battery cover screw , take off the battery cover , with the same type of new batteries to replace the old batteries.

4.3 To turn off the power when not in use , long-term use , you should remove the battery.

4.4 The meter shall be stored to avoid moisture , high temperatures and strong magnetic fields .

4.5 If a long time without the instrument , you should remove the battery.
