Three integrated capacity measurement modes are available:

1. Two wire intermittent mode - Detect the battery voltage at the moment of cutting off the discharge current to prevent the impact of line loss. In this mode,the terminal voltage at the moment of load cutting (within a few milliseconds) is tested instead of the load voltage.

2. Two wire continuous mode - mainly used as an electronic load testing power supply,which is used to test the voltage of loaded terminals.

3. Professional four wire testing mode - requires the use of specialized fixtures to accurately test battery performance. This mode is used to test the differential voltage of BV terminals.

The current version already has an independent RES-V (battery internal resistance voltage test) function! (This function is suitable for rapid sorting of conventional batteries with an internal resistance of over 20m Ω. Low internal resistance power batteries are not suitable,and pulse testing is not the working principle of standard AC internal resistance meters.)

Quick to use instructions:

1. Connect the positive and negative poles of the fully charged tested battery (power bank) to the blue terminals BAT+and BAT -,with the connection wires as short and thick as possible! Apply a DC 12V working voltage to the tester (the microUSB version uses a 5V power supply),and the tester will display the discharge current when turned on.

2. Press the S - or S++button to change the set current in the range of 0.1-2.6A. When the current is appropriate,press the SK button to start the test (if the fault code Err * appears,please refer to the following content). The tester can intelligently select the battery type and formulate the termination voltage. After the test is started,the “RUN“ indicator will light up,and the Nixie tube display value will rotate from capacity Ah,energy Wh,voltage V to current A. When the test is completed,the Nixie tube will stay at Ah value and flash quickly with an audible reminder,and the “RUN“ indicator will go out.

3. After completion,you can press the “SK“ button to stop the tester flashing alarm. You can also press the S - or S++button to switch and view the battery capacity Ah,energy Wh,and discharge platform voltage V. When you press the “SK“ button again,the tester will return to the startup current setting state and repeat the previous operation for the next battery test.

Attention: After testing the alarm status,a key operation must be performed once to clear the backup data. If no key operation is performed,the backup results will always be saved,even if the power is cut off,they will not be cleared!

Meaning and handling method of error code Err *:

Err1: The battery voltage is too high. Please confirm that the voltage before the battery test is below 8.5V.

Err2: If the battery voltage is too low (below the set termination voltage value),please confirm the battery voltage and reset it. If the battery is connected in reverse and the four wire mode voltage measurement is not connected or connected in reverse,Err2 will also appear.

Err3: The battery does not support the set discharge current or the internal resistance of the circuit is too high. Please use a smaller current to test the battery and ensure that the battery circuit is thick and short,and that there is good contact between the electrodes.

Err4: The power tube is damaged,which usually occurs after poor modification. The power tube can be replaced by oneself,with substitute models such as P75NF75.

Err5: Exceeding the test power limit,this state may only appear when the power limit function is turned on (LPon),indicating that the discharge power exceeds 12W under set conditions,and the protective measures taken by the tester to prevent heat dissipation and overheating! Users can make their own modifications (increase the heat sink or install a fan),and enter the function setting menu to turn off the power limit (LPoF),which can exceed 12W power usage.

Err6: The power supply voltage is out of range. When the power supply voltage is below 11V or above 14V,the tester will display this error code during power on. Please replace the power supply with a suitable voltage for use!!
